Pasties
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes
1 large carrot
1 large swede
2 medium onions
500 grams of lean beef mince
Salt
Pepper

Serves: 6
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Method:
Mince potatoes, carrot, swede and onion all in a blender (small but not mush! ).
Add 500 grams of lean beef mince, stir all. Add 2 heaped dessertspoons white pepper, 1 dessertspoon of salt Stir in thoroughly.
That’s done, get pastry (I buy the frozen sheets) ,thaw and rub both sides with plain flour.
Place mixture in centre, fold up.
Grease oven tray with butter, leave a bit of room between each coz they will expand.
Brush 1 egg and milk ( beaten) over them all Into 200 degrees oven, cook maybe 20 to 30 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown.
Presto !!! Enjoy
