
Grilled Lemongrass Beef
Ingredients:
500g beef rump, sliced
1/4 tspn dried chilli flakes
1/4 tspn five spice powder
1 tspn sea salt
1 tblspn roasted sesame seeds
2 tspns dark palm sugar
3 cloves garlic
2 tblspns lemongrass stalk, finely chopped
1 tspn white sugar
2 tspns sesame oil
1/4 tspn ground black pepper
1 tblspn oyster suace
2 tspns fish sauce

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Method:
To make the marinade, use a mortar and pestle and add ingredients one by one and pound until a paste forms.
Mix the sugar, fish sauce, sesame oil and oyster sauce in a small bowl, then add the paste to make a marinade.
Combine the beef with the marinade and leave for at least 30 minutes.
Thread the beef on bamboo skewers and chargrill on a hot BBQ until cooked.
Serve with green papaya salad.
